Karen Miller has a story of herpes because she was infected at the age of 21 and after a long time of research discovered a treatment for genital herpes in women that got rid of the disease. She decided to share the treatment with others and wrote a guide she called Home Herpes Revolution that explains how to get rid of herpes in 30 days.
Herpes stories told by patients and doctors: know their experiences
On this page we have included herpes stories told by patients, statistics on people with herpes, and interviews with people who have had herpes.
There are millions of herpes stories around the world because the number of people infected with the virus is growing rapidly due to its mode of transmission.
We have interviewed doctors who were made famous by the disease because they were involved in creating treatments that are now used by thousands of patients.
This document is divided into three sections. The first section contains statistical data on herpes in the United States and the second contains a description of herpes treatments which are related to the stories in the third section.

How many people have herpes? [↑]
A study conducted by the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in March 2010 suggests approximately five million Americans were infected with the herpes simplex virus and it is estimated that approximately half a million new cases are infected each year.
Statistics also suggest only 25% of the number of people infected have the virus active at any given time, indicating the remaining 75% are not able to transmit it.
Herpes simplex infection is higher in women than in men. It is estimated one in four women are infected with the virus, while in men the ratio is lower because the estimate of infected men is one in five.
Pregnant women infected with the herpes virus can transmit the virus to their baby at birth. For this reason, they require special medical attention in the periods around delivery.
Statistics on herpes infections in the United States also indicate a higher prevalence of the disease in people of African descent than in people of other ethnic groups.
It is estimated that 45.9% of adults of African descent are infected with the herpes virus.
How many people have cold sores?
Oral herpes is primarily caused by the herpes simplex virus type 1. This is why many people call it the labial herpes virus, although it can also infect the genitals, but less often than the herpes simplex type 2 virus.
How many people have genital herpes?
Genital herpes is the most prevalent sexually transmitted disease in the United States.
This disease is primarily caused by herpes simplex virus type 2, but herpes simplex virus type 1 can also cause it.
The main ways this disease is transmitted are through heterosexual or homosexual relationships.
If one member of a partner has a herpes outbreak at the time of a sexual relationship, it is very likely that the other member will get the virus.
Transmission of herpes can also occur in a sexual relationship when one member of the partner has the active virus without having a herpes outbreak at the time.
Using a latex condom is one way to help prevent infection, but it is not completely safe.
For this reason, we recommend avoiding sex when one partner has a herpes outbreak.
Herpes treatments and its history [↑]
Herpes is a disease that has affected humans for over 2000 years. The history of Rome records that the Emperor Tiberius (42 BC-37 AD) forbade kissing for a time in his kingdom due to an outbreak of this disease.
Therapy to fight the herpes virus began in the early 1960s.
Acyclovir is one of the most widely used antiviral agents against herpes. Its application began in 1982 in its topical form.
Despite all the research related to the herpes simplex virus, there is currently no vaccine to fight it.
The medications available to date do not eliminate the herpes virus permanently, they only help reduce the severity and time of outbreaks.
I describe four of them below, which are related to the herpes stories in the next section.
The Ultimate Herpes Protocol
This treatment came about in the context of attempts to cure the American journalist Melanie Addington.
Melanie was infected with the herpes virus and suffered from genital herpes. The disease brought her many difficult moments in her life.
Melanie's father is a British doctor. She turned to him for help and the herpes treatment program known as The Ultimate Herpes Protocol was born.
HSV Eraser
HSV Eraser is a herpes treatment program by Drs. Ken Languin and Christine Buehler.
Christine was infected with both herpes simplex viruses and suffered from cold sores. In the context of her illness she sought help from a former teacher of hers: Dr. Ken Languin.
Both doctors began their efforts to find a treatment to cure Christine and HSV Eraser was born.
This program structures the treatment of herpes into two stages that together last 21 days.
The first stage is intended to separate the protein that protects the virus from the immune response in the infected cells.
The second stage aims to strengthen the immune system to eliminate the virus from the patient's body.
The Herpes Cure
This program was created by Dr. Richard Raygon and Dr. Maria Vasquez.
Maria woke up in the morning with herpes symptoms in the mouth area one day that seemed normal, but soon these symptoms created difficult situations in her life.
She sought help from Dr. Richard Raygon who was her teacher.
These facts led to the research that resulted in the creation of the herpes treatment program known as The Herpes Cure.
This program removes the herpes simplex virus from your body in three weeks.

Can herpes be cured permanently? Dr. Christine Buehler answers this and other questions
Dr. Christine Buehler has a herpes story to tell us because she has been definitively cured of this disease with a treatment in whose creation she participated. Here you can read an interview in which she talks about the treatment and answers several very interesting questions, among them: can herpes be cured permanently?
Is there a herpes cure? Dr. Maria Vasquez answers this question and others
Dr. Maria Vasquez is well known in herpes simplex stories. She was infected with the two viruses that cause the disease and worked with Dr. Richard Raygon to create a cure that eliminates the virus completely from our bodies within 21 days. In this interview, Maria answers important questions about this cure.
Cure for herpes simplex virus: how I cured my herpes?
If you want to know herpes stories, you should read this testimonial from programmer Betty Russo. She tells us how she got the virus, the difficult situations due to the disease she had to face, how she dealt with them, and how she has managed to get rid of herpes forever with a treatment that eliminates the virus definitively.
